My primary research lies on the intersection of Open-Set Recognition (OSR), image and video classification and computational psychology, where we explore cutting-edge deep learning and biologically-inspired methods.
Recently, I am also working on the application of visual language models, focused on word embedding, image captioning and feature extraction for fake news and anomaly detection.
Before joining Notre Dame for my Ph.D, I obtained my Master’s degree in Computer Science from New York University and worked forSingularity.AI as a Computer Vision research engineer. During those 3 years, I focused on multi-modality medical image analysis using deep learning approaches.
